The St. John\u2019s Rural East constituency is in dire need of attention, says Sean Bird, who will be contesting that seat on the United Progressive Party (UPP) ticket next election.<\/p>

The sitting parliamentary representative is Maria Browne, wife of the Prime Minister; but Bird says the constituency has been neglected for some time, and there is urgent need for infrastructural work.<\/p>\n

Further, he says, neither the elderly nor the young is being given the attention required. \u00a0Bird admits that their circumstances were not as bad before the pandemic, but the situation has worsened since.<\/p>
