The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed five (5) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 25th October 2021 at 6pm.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Ninety-seven (97) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
One hundred and four \u00a0(104) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand six hundred and forty-five (3,645).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Three (3) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded increasing the total to one hundred and two (102).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is four thousand and thirty-six (4,036); which is inclusive of two hundred and eighty-nine (289) active cases. There are seventeen (17) hospitalized cases; nine (9) mild, four (4) moderate and four (4) severe.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty nine thousand five hundred and sixty<\/div>\n
(49,560) individuals while six thousand three hundred and eighty-two (6,382) have only received their first dose.<\/div>\n
