Attorney General Steadroy Cutie Benjamin has defended changes the scope of responsibility falling under the office of the Director of Public Prosecution.<\/p>

The passage of the Law Reform Miscellaneous Provisions bill 2021 means that oversight for prosecution in Customs, Immigration, Labour Department and Health will now fall under the office of the DPP.<\/p>\n

Benjamin was speaking in parliament this week.<\/p>
