Meet Alfonsina Olmos<\/p>

Winner of the 40th Independence Logo Competition<\/p>\n

Alfonsina Olmos is a 25 year old Antiguan citizen, who is also
\nbilingual in English and Spanish.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

In 2007, she attended the Christian Faith Academy, and upon
\ncompletion, in 2012, she received her high school diploma. Further
\nto this, she also attained a Business Ethics Training and
\nDevelopment Certificate from the Macedonia Business Ethics and
\nLanguage Institute.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Previously, she worked as a secretary at the Embassy of the
\nBolivarian Republic of Venezuela from 2013 to 2020. However, at
\nthe age of 20, she was offered the opportunity to be an unofficial
\ntranslator for the Eye Care Program, Miracle Mission, at the Sir
\nLester Bird Medical Center. This opportunity opened other doors
\nfor Miss Olmos as she traveled to Venezuela to further assist the
\nMission, and was also recommended to take part in a sub-regional
\nnews network based in Venezuela with ABS Television<\/p>\n

Quite recently, Miss Olmos developed a keen interest in graphic
\ndesigning, mainly as a hobby, during the COVID-19 pandemic. She
\nwas further encouraged by her partner, who is a well-known
\nprofessional digital artist, and he willingly shared his knowledge,
\ncreativity and expertise with her.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Motivation propelled her to demonstrate her capabilities by
\nentering the 40th Independence Logo Competition, and winning
\nfirst place for the best designed logo was tremendously
\nrewarding<\/p>\n

Currently, Miss Olmos is attending the University of the West
\nIndies Open Campus pursuing a certification in Cosmetology with
\nthe intention of becoming a successful entrepreneur.<\/p>
