The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed fifteen (15) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday 6th October 2021 at 6pm.<\/p>\n

One hundred and twelve (112) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and eighty (80) at CARPHA.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Ninety-eight (98) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand five hundred and fifteen (2,515).<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Three (3) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded increasing the total to ninety-one (91).<\/p>\n

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand six hundred and seventy-eight (3,678); which is inclusive of one thousand and seventy-two (1,072) active cases. There are fifty-three (53) hospitalized cases; thirty-four (34) mild, twelve(12) moderate and seven (7) severe.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty four thousand and ninety-seven (44,097) individuals while ten thousand and seventy-six (10,076) have only received their first dose.<\/p>\n

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.<\/p>
