REAL NEWS:<\/strong>\u00a0Frustration continues to mount for the family of a man who reportedly died 10 days ago, because, to date, they have not been able to locate his body.<\/p>

Health authorities reportedly advised the son of Renal Delva that his father had died of COVID-19 complications on September 25; but there was \u201cno definitive word from the \u00a0hospital about the body,\u201d a relative says.<\/p>\n

Since then, and despite the son\u2019s efforts to trace it, Delva\u2019s body has not been located at either of the country\u2019s two funeral homes, and there has been no indication from the hospital morgue that his remains are being stored there, either.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cThe family wants to lay their dead to rest, bring closure, and move on with their lives,\u201d a relative tells\u00a0REAL News<\/strong>. \u00a0\u201cThe young man is now devastated over the situation,\u201d she adds.<\/p>

<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

\u201cMy nephew\u2019s frustration has no end because he still cannot get any answers up to [Tuesday] morning,\u201d the woman says of Delva\u2019s son.<\/p>\n

She says the hospital\u2019s top administrator \u201cis too busy to have a conversation with the family while they languish over their deceased. \u00a0This is unacceptable,\u201d she declares.<\/p>

<\/div>\n

Persons who are aware of the situation are speculating that Delva has been buried already, since COVID-19 corpses are interred quickly \u2013 within 72 hours at latest.<\/p>\n

They believe that hospital authorities are stalling because they do not know where to lay the blame for misplacing the corpse and for mishandling the situation since.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

The relative tells\u00a0REAL News<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cit is only when situations hit the airwaves that action is taken.\u201d \u00a0Therefore, after this story is told, she is hoping that Delva\u2019s body will be produced or an explanation given by the authorities.<\/p>

Meanwhile, a woman who attended her cousin\u2019s burial last week tells our News Room she hopes she was not \u201ccrying at the wrong funeral.\u201d<\/p>\n

She notes that, once a person dies from COVID-19, the body is immediately wrapped and sealed, and therefore family and mourners can never be sure exactly who is being buried.<\/p>\n
