President of the Antigua & Barbuda Bar Association, Lenworth Johnson said he was saddened at the passing of Attorney-at-Law John Fuller.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Fuller, 75, died at his home in Hodges Bay on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bar has had three knockouts this year, first Ralph Francis then Sir Lester Bird, now John Fuller\u201d, Johnson said on state media.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

According to the bar association president, Fuller was \u201call about justice, he was a lawyer\u2019s lawyer, he was a poor man\u2019s lawyer, he was a middle-class man\u2019s lawyer.\u201d<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cIt was about the justice of the situation, the justice of the case. He will represent anyone, government, political persons, UPP, ALP, whosoever, poor persons,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t about money, it was about the justice of the case,\u201d Johnson reiterated.<\/p>

He said Fuller was a man of \u201cimpeccable conduct and, of course, he was most respectful in court, to the judiciary and to his fellow attorneys. We will really miss him badly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson said much will be revealed about the late attorney\u2019s contribution to the legal profession and the country at \u201c a special sitting where all these things will come out and we can have a proper opportunity to put them together.\u201d<\/p>
