Prime Minister Gaston Browne says St. John\u2019s Cemetery, Barnes and Straffies are full.<\/p>

He revealed this on his radio show over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Chief Health Inspector Sharon Martin has confirmed the Public Cemetery is running out of space for new burials.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Martin explains this is the worst year on record for the number of burials at the facility.<\/p>

 <\/p>\n

There will be 305 burials by the end of this week which is already a record for the period January 1 to September 30.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She says a meeting will need to be convened with the Health Minister Hon. Sir Molwyn Joseph to determine what will need to be done.<\/p>

The decision likely to be taken is to inter bodies from rural areas in cemeteries on the outskirts of the island.<\/p>\n
