The Union hereby advises that it has received legal counsel and has commenced the
\nprocess to challenge the Government’s Mandatory Vaccination Policy,<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in keeping with the instructions published in the Gazette of 17th
\nSeptember 2021, all unvaccinated employees are asked to remain at home.<\/p>

An unvaccinated employee who attends the workplace would be in breach of the Public
\nHealth Act (Dangerous Infectious Disease) (Amendment) (No. 16) regulations 2021,
\nand be liable to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment of up to one month.<\/p>

The results of the legal action that we have started will be made known by or before
\n30th September 2021.<\/p>\n
