Wayne Martin, the father of last August\u2019s burnt soldier victim Ashon Martin, has confirmed that his son will finally be laid to rest at the St. John\u2019s Seventh Adventist Church on Nevis Street on Thursday 5 April at 9:15 am.<\/span><\/p>

The family had previously bemoaned the long wait and lack of response from police and government officials as to confirm the identity of the unidentifiable body due to gruesome nature of the body\u2019s burning.<\/p>\n

After the family came public with their concern on 6 March, Police Commissioner Wendell Robinson subsequently called the family into a meeting to discuss the progress of the investigation.<\/p>
