Covid -19 – Work Environment Requirement<\/p>

In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and the fact that the seasonal influenza (flu)\u00a0virus is also widespread, we are taking proactive steps to address a number of business concerns.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and\/or adopt practices\u00a0protecting the health of our employees and customers.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

We also want to ensure the continuity of\u00a0business operations during this pandemic\u00a0Effective September 6, 2021, all unvaccinated employees will be required to present a Negative\u00a0COVID-19 Antigen Test, while All vaccinated employees, will be required to present a copy of\u00a0their COVID-19 Vaccination Record, to be placed on file.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Further, it will be required for all\u00a0unvaccinated employees to present a Negative Covid-19 Antigen test every fortnight (14 day)\u00a0period.<\/p>\n

We ask all employees to cooperate in taking steps to reduce the transmission of communicable\u00a0diseases in the workplace. Employees are reminded of the following:<\/p>

\u2022 It is critical that employees do not report to work while they are experiencing respiratory<\/p>\n

symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body\u00a0aches, headache, chills or fatigue.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

If this occurs, when reporting back to work, you will be\u00a0required to present a Negative Covid-19 Antigen Test. (Vaccinated & Unvaccinated\u00a0Employees)
\nWash your hands frequently with soapy water for at least 20 seconds and\/or sanitize your
\nhands frequently<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Cover your mouth with tissues whenever you sneeze, and discard used tissues in the trash.
\nAvoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms.<\/p>\n

Clean frequently touched surfaces<\/p>\n

Always wear your mask correctly.<\/p>\n

Unvaccinated persons who fail to present their negative Covid-19 antigen results and vaccinated\u00a0persons who fail to present their record of vaccination, will not permitted to enter the workplace.<\/p>\n

COVID-19 testing is available at the Multi-Purpose Centre and Villa Polyclinic<\/p>\n
