The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Sunday 29th August 2021 at 6pm.<\/p>\n

Sixty-eight (68) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand seven hundred and fifteen (1715); which is inclusive of three hundred and twenty-three (323) active cases. There are twenty-three (23) hospitalized cases; sixteen (16) mild, three (3) moderate and four (4) severe.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty three thousand eight hundred and forty-two (33,842) individuals while six thousand nine hundred and fifty-three(6,953) have only received their first dose.<\/p>\n

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.<\/p>
