The Police have arrested and charged Donette Simon of Tindale Road and Shenel Williams of Villa for offences they committed under the Public Order Act.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Both Williams and Simon were charged jointly for Organizing a Prohibited Public Meeting, which occurred on the 8th<\/sup> of August 2021 on Market Street.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

They were also charged separately for Taking part in a Prohibited Public Meeting, contrary to sections 19 (b) and 39 (c) of the said Act.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Williams, on the other hand, was charged with committing an act of Incitement, contrary to section 36 (d) (i) of The Public Oder Act, Cap 357.<\/p>\n

The police continue to appeal to residents to act responsibly and conform to the laws that govern the country.<\/p>
