 <\/p>\n

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed eight (8 new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 5th August 2021 at 6pm.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Seven (7) of the new cases are non-imported and one (1) imported.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

One hundred and ten (110) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Two (2) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred and forty-six (1246).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand three hundred and twenty-eight (1328); which is inclusive of thirty-nine (39) active cases.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are five (5) mild hospitalized cases.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, thirty eight thousand five hundred and thirty-nine (38,539) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered of which thirty one thousand one hundred and fifty-seven (31,157) received the second dose.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.<\/p>\n
