Employees of both branches of Caribbean Union bank walked off the job on Wednesday.<\/p>

The employees took industrial action to voice their concerns about the bank\u2019s handling of their quest for a salary increase.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Their bargaining agent is the Antigua and Barbuda Free Trade Union.<\/p>

President Samuel James said the union is not pleased with the bank\u2019s position, calling it unreasonable.<\/p>

The union is asking for salary increases for the workers and has been in negotiations with the bank since 2018.<\/p>\n

A meeting is scheduled for Thursday at the Labour Department to try to hammer out an agreement.<\/p>
