The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) on Wednesday met with a delegation from the United Progressive Party (UPP) upon its request, to discuss several areas of concern raised by the party.<\/p>

The four-member delegation comprised of Former Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer, Chairperson of the United Progressive Party, D. Giselle Issac, General Secretary Senator Shawn Nicholas and Mr. Alister Thomas.<\/p>\n

Among the main areas discussed were: the late publication of the Register of Electors, the location of Registration Units outside of the Constituency, the conditions for persons who wish to register after becoming citizens as a result of the Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP) and the transfer process.<\/p>

ABEC\u2019s Chairman, Mr. Nathaniel Paddy James, said that the meeting was productive.<\/p>
