The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and the Environment is pleased to announce the rollout of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine. The first dose of the vaccine will be administered on Thursday 15th July 2021 to Chinese Nationals, residing in Antigua.<\/p>

Public Vaccination using the Sinopharm vaccine will commence on Monday 19th July 2021\u00a0exclusively<\/strong>\u00a0at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Center, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and The Environment wishes to thank the Government and citizens of the People\u2019s Republic of China for their generous donation of 20,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The Sinopharm vaccine is approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\n

The AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine will continue to be administered to walk-ins for public vaccination at the Villa Polyclinic, weekdays from Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\n

The general public is reminded that the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination will also be offered on an appointment basis at two Health Centers that are open.<\/p>\n

To receive an appointment date for the COVID-19 vaccine call the All Saints Health Centre, (268) 460-1003, and the Browne\u2019s avenue Health Center, (268) 562-3076.<\/p>\n

\n

Identification cards must be presented at vaccination centers as well as vaccination cards for persons seeking their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>
