A $1500 reward has been offered by one local surveyor who is hoping to retrieve a special piece of equipment.<\/p>

Amir Mason made the announcement about the reward while appealing to members of the public who may have seen or know about the alleged theft.<\/p>\n

Mason explained that he was working on a project for the West Indies Oil Company (WIOC) on Saturday at around 2:26-4:12pm along the rising for Friars Hill road but upon returning to the exact site, the instrument was no longer there.<\/p>

He confirmed that he has made a report to the Longford Police Station but is now speaking to the media to bring more awareness on the matter.<\/p>
