The Government of Antigua and Barbuda (GOAB) has applied for financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of rehabilitation and reconstruction of infrastructure damaged as a consequence of the passage of Hurricane Irma. \u00a0GOAB intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued.\u00a0 Payments by CDB will be made only at the request of GOAB and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement.\u00a0 The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.\u00a0 No party other than GOAB shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Works and Housing (MWH), the Executing Agency, through its Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) now wishes to procure consultancy services for Design and Construction Supervision of Building Works.<\/p>

 <\/p>\n

The Objectives of the assignment are as follows:<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 assist GOAB in preparing designs and bid documentation, and facilitating the bid process to build-back better building infrastructure in Antigua and Barbuda associated with the education, water, and agriculture sectors, including the conduct of climate vulnerability assessments, and<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 provide construction supervision services.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The duration of the assignment is expected to be for a period of twenty-four (24) months commencing April 2018.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

GOAB now invites interested eligible consulting firms to submit Expressions of Interest indicating qualifications and experience required to provide these services.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Firms or Joint Ventures are eligible to participate if:<\/p>\n
