The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) recently installed a women\u2019s committee. The committee, chaired by Executive Committee member Ms. Jeaninne Wong- Loi Sing (Bonaire), will monitor, review and supervise policies that are focused on women\u2019s football in the region.<\/p>\n

The other members are Gwen Salmon (Antigua & Barbuda), Mildred Wever (Aruba), Jes\u00fas Pereira Le\u00f3n (Cuba), Dana\u00eb Daal (Cura\u00e7ao), Armide Horth (FrenchGuyana), Ramona Otway (Grenada) Monique Andre (Haiti) and Ana Rabell (Puerto Rico).<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The committee shall serve primarily in an advisory capacity and shall review and consider women\u2019s football activities events and drives to develop women\u2019s football in the Caribbean.<\/p>

It shall be responsible for drafting CFU policies regarding women\u2019s football
\n\u201cAs the chair of the Women\u2019s Football Committee, it is my aim and vision to have a
\nproactive approach to women\u2019s development in the Caribbean. Coming from a small island,
\nI understand the limitations of many islands, not only with the development of football in
\ngeneral but even more so with women\u2019s football. This committee will endeavor to help build
\na more sustainable and resilient women\u2019s policy, players and league for the Caribbean,\u201d<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Football Committee Chairperson Jeaninne Wong-Loi Sing said.<\/p>
