The Ministry of Health has revealed one (1) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 case in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday 22nd May 2021 at 6pm.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

One hundred and six (106) samples were processed by Sir Lester Bird MSJMC and CARPHA.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Eight (8) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred (1200).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and fifty-eight (1258); which is inclusive of sixteen (16) active cases.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are no hospitalized cases.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, thirty two thousand seven hundred and thirty-seven (32,737) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while seven thousand and fifty (8,579) second doses were administered.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.<\/p>\n
