His daughter, Donyelle has confirmed the news to state media, indicating Sir Lester was discharged from hospital last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In addition to the support from herself and her sibling, Donyelle Bird says her father receives professional nursing care around the clock.<\/p>

She says he is in good spirits and the family is heartened by the progress as he continues to adjust to the post-operative situation while receiving excellent care management.<\/p>

Meanwhile, all is in place for the renaming of the Mount St John\u2019s Medical Centre on Tuesday of this week in Sir Lester\u2019s honour.<\/p>\n
