Students and teachers at the Five Islands Primary School received a welcome surprise on Thursday. They were gifted by the Sandals Foundation with reading books, exercise books, pencils, crayons, backpacks, rulers, erasers and other types of school supplies. The principal, Sandy Lewis, (first left) thanked the foundation for its timely donation and noted that the items will be useful to the students and teachers alike. Secretary, Jamila Mannix (right of principal) and Deputy Principal, Bridgette Bascombe (right of Mannix) were also on hand to accept the items.<\/p>
