Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley announced at a news conference moments ago that Royal Caribbean is to support St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the event of an explosive eruption.<\/p>

Mottley told the news conference she spoke to her colleague Dr Ralph Gonsalves on the matter.<\/p>\n

Mottley says the cruise ships were in Barbados for a few months now due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>

Mottley revealed that she spoke to the directors of Royal Caribbean who did not hesitate to agree to assist.<\/p>

The Barbados PM says Royal Caribbean will soon head SVG where the residents there are preparing for the eruption of the La Soufriere Volcano.<\/p>\n

She assured the people of St Vincent that Barbados stands ready to assist.<\/p>
