Two important medical facilities in Antigua and Barbuda were recently on the receiving end of a generous donation from Antiguan families.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Both the Potters and the Brownes Avenue clinics have been presented a set of medical tools that the nursing staff will find useful in serving the health needs of the respective communities where they operate.<\/p>\n

The donation was made possible through the combined efforts of the Henry and Janzen families who were drawn to the demands on the facilities while on a visit to Antigua.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Leona and Wilfred Janzen and Constance Henry, who now reside in Canada, committed to the nursing staff they would make every effort to assist the staff of the community clinics especially in supporting their work in diagnosing and treating non-communicable diseases.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

They came through on their promise and as a result, relative Avery Henry presented a set of four Blood Pressure Machines to the Brownes Avenue Clinic and two Blood Pressure Machines and two infra-red thermometers to the clinic in Potters on behalf of the two families.<\/p>\n

Nurse in Charge at Browne\u2019s Avenue Joseyan Campbell and Nurse Josephine Williams of the Potters Clinic received the donations and expressed their appreciation with the assurance that they will be put to the very use for which they were intended.<\/p>

\"\"<\/p>\n

On behalf of the families, Henry noted \u201cWe are really delighted to help. Antigua will always be home for the Henry\u2019s and Janzens and we only hope that we can continue to be of some meaningful assistance to the people and land we will forever love.\u201d<\/p>\n
