This serves as notice to allow for the safety of road users during construction works associated with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project <\/strong>which is a grant being provided by the United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund.<\/p>

A section of Friars Hill road will be closed: Between the Junction of Old Popeshead Road<\/strong> and Cedar Valley Road<\/strong>. This section is referred to as phase 1B for the rehabilitation of the highway.<\/p>\n

Monday to Friday:\u00a0 7:00am to 5:30pm | Saturday: 7:00am to 1:00pm <\/strong><\/p>

ROAD CLOSURE: <\/strong>The Junction of Old Popeshead Road to Cedar Valley Road.<\/p>

DURATION: <\/strong>Approximately two (2) to four (4) weeks<\/p>\n

DIVERSION(S):<\/strong> Marble Hill Road<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Diversion signs will be visible for all road users who are being asked to proceed with caution for the duration of the road works. There will be workers in high visibility reflective gear at the road closure and flag people will be there to direct traffic. Local access will be maintained for road users who are residents and individuals conducting business at the business places within the closure. There will be no parking along main roads or side roads in the area.<\/p>\n
