Out musician Lil Nas X shared a heartbreaking letter to his younger, closeted self just as he released his new single, \u201cMontero (Call Me By Your Name).\u201d<\/p>

Lil Nas X soared to fame two years ago with his record-breaking hit \u201cOld Town Road,\u201d and he came out as gay at the height of his popularity. Now he released a new single accompanied by a very sexual and gay video .<\/p>\n

But the 21-year-old hip hop sensation took a moment to speak to how much his life has changed now that he\u2019s an adult in gay boxers<\/a><\/p>

\u201cDear 14-year-old Montero,\u201d Nas opens the letter, referring to his government name, Montero Lamar Hill. \u201cI wrote a song with our name in it. It\u2019s about a guy I met last summer.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cI know we promised to never come out publicly, I know we promised to never be \u2018that\u2019 type of gay person, I know we promised to die with the secret, but this will open doors for so many other queer people to simply exist,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see, this is very scary for me, people will be angry, they will say I\u2019m pushing an agenda. But the truth is, I am. The agenda to make people stay the f**k out of other people\u2019s lives and stop dictating who they should be.\u201d<\/p>

The video for \u201cMontero\u201d shows Nas in drag, shirtless, in a bedazzled muscular bodysuit, in drag, and wearing knee-high stiletto boots and underwear while giving the devil a lap dance.<\/p>\n

His new single comes just a \u201cOld Town Road\u201d became the most streamed single in the U.S., according to Chart Data, with 2.992 billion on-demand streams.<\/p>
