The Transport Board has introduced four new school buses to their aging fleet to address the difficulty of finding parts for the old models.<\/p>

The Permanent Secretary within the Ministry of Transportation, Edson Joseph, said there are already plans underway to acquire an additional six buses.<\/p>\n

He said they will not all be bought at the same time, as was the case with the old fleet but staggered, to avoid all of them “aging at the same time.<\/p>

Hundreds of students rely on the public school bus system to take them to and from school every day at a reduced cost, compared to that of accessing public transportation.<\/p>
