High sea swells due to strong winds have created “hostile sea conditions” which are affecting the water production of the Antigua Public Utilities Authority.<\/p>

As a result of in-take at the Ffryes Beach, Camp Blizzard and Shell Beach Reverse Osmosis Plants being hampered, the Water Business Unit has warned that customers residing and operating in the central and southern parts of the island will be affected.<\/p>\n

The Authority said Seaview Farm, Clark\u2019s Hill, Gray\u2019s Hill, Cook\u2019s Hill, Scott\u2019s Hill and elevated areas in St. John\u2019s City, Liberta, and the southern section of Jennings through to Old Road will continue to experience temporary water suppression.<\/p>

The APUA Water Business Unit is anticipating that water supply will “normalize in the coming days” and thyey have apologized for the inconvenience.<\/p>
