The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John\u2019s Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed sixteen (16) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Friday 5th March 2021 at 6pm.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Of the one hundred and ninety-five (195) samples that were pending from MSJMC, one hundred and sixty-six (166) were negative and twenty-nine (29) positive. Thirteen (13) of these positive cases were repeat tests.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Fourteen (14) of the newly confirmed positive cases are non-imported while the other two (2) are imported.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Meanwhile, thirty-six (36) recoveries have been recorded bringing the total to four hundred and forty-six (446).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is eight hundred and forty-eight (848); which is inclusive of three hundred and eighty-one (381) active cases.<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, one hundred and seven (107) samples are pending.<\/div>\n
