Royal Caribbean Group says all crew members on its three cruise lines will require COVID-19 vaccinations before returning to work.<\/p>

The company outlined the measure in a letter to crew members of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea Cruises, revealed by Crew Center.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been working hard, in collaboration with government entities, scientists and experts to continue to develop our plan to keep our guests, crew and communities we visit safe. The new Covid-19 vaccines present a new opportunity to do just that,\u201d the letter said.<\/p>

It hasn\u2019t outlined a timeline for vaccinations and is \u2018still working on the details.\u2019<\/p>

It will depend on \u2018the country of residence, the timing of the next contract and whether the crew is already on board or traveling.\u2019<\/p>\n

The company confirmed the plan by issuing a statement.<\/p>

\u201cThe vaccines are a way to build protection for everyone involved and we continue to look into all options that will assist in keeping people safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has also announced a vaccination program for all returning crew members while some cruise lines are taking extra measures.<\/p>
