The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) has completed the process of transporting 400 dignity kits to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on behalf of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).<\/p>

The dignity kits include a set of toiletries like lotion, soap, toothpaste etc. along with items like underwear, comb, mirror, toothbrush among other things.<\/p>

The Regional Security System (RSS) aircraft transported the first 200 kits on Friday while the other 200 left the island on Monday.<\/p>\n

This is to ensure that the items are on hand if the residents were to be impacted by the active volcano there.<\/p>\n
