This serves to inform you that ongoing works with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project now nearing completion is resulting in ongoing single lane traffic operations of both the Sir George Walter Hwy and the Friars Hill Rd.<\/div>\n

The project managing team therefore urges road users to proceed with caution as the contractor moves ahead with drainage, sidewalk, headwall and signage works along the edges of both corridors.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Please also be advised that a part of Sir Sydney Walling Hwy between north sound roundabout and Parham corner will remain closed for about five weeks to facilitate road reconstruction works near Lunar Park.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Residents\u00a0in the area east of the closure limits will be required\u00a0to divert through Parham when traveling west towards the capital St. John’s. Eastbound traffic will be required to travel via the northsound roundabout, through Parham then on to Sir Sydney Walling Hwy.<\/div>\n
