A 19yr old and a 17yr old male both of Villa, were arrested and jointly charged by the police on Friday with Breaking and Larceny.<\/p>

The Brysons Street and Piggott Street residents are accused of breaking into a store on Redcliffe Street on 11th<\/sup> January 2021, and stealing a number of electronic items to include a laptop computer, mobile phones, video games, and smart watches.<\/p>\n

They also allegedly stole several pieces of jewellery; including necklaces and rings, and an assortment of tools, along with the cash register with an undisclosed sum of money, and other valuable items.<\/p>

Both men were separately charged for allegedly breaking and entering a fitness gym on Redcliffe Street on the same day, and stealing an undisclosed sum of money.<\/p>

Meantime, a 19yr old female of Golden Grove along with a 23yr old male of Belle Street, Villa and a 24yr old male of Buckley Line were also charged in connection with said offence. They are accused of receiving a number of the items that were allegedly stolen.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred sometime between 11th<\/sup> and 13th<\/sup> January. The Police have since recovered some of the items. They are expected in Court sometime this week.<\/p>
