In an effort to safeguard our staff, the general public and visitors to our island, against the spread of the dangerous infectious disease SARS COV-2 which causes COVID-19, the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Public Safety and Labour is pleased to introduce the following protocols that will apply to the process of acquiring a marriage licence.<\/p>

For residents and visitors who are on island for a period of fourteen (14) days or less and who desire to obtain a Marriage License within that period:<\/strong><\/p>

Please contact the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Public Safety and Labour, at tel. no. 462-0017\/9 or email: legalaffairs@ab.gov.ag<\/a>, to schedule a Zoom meeting for an interview with our Marriage Coordinator.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For couples, where one or both parties fall within Group 2, you will be given instructions to fax or scan and email the required documents to the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Public Safety and Labour, prior to the Zoom Meeting.<\/p>\n

We encourage all couples to contact the office at least two (2) days prior to the date of their intended nuptials.<\/p>\n
