The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John\u2019s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed seven new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday 9<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0January 2021 at 6pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Friday 8<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0January 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, two hundred samples were processed at the Mount St. John\u2019s Medical Center which increased the pending results from seventeen to two hundred and seventeen. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>\n

Of the two hundred processed by MSJMC, one hundred and ninety-eight were negative and two positive while of the seventeen processed by CARPHA, eleven were negative and six positive. One of the positive samples from CARPHA was a repeat test.<\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>\n

The samples are reflected in the\u00a0<\/span>total persons tested<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>total samples taken<\/b><\/span>\u00a0columns of the dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and seventy-six (176); which is inclusive of nineteen (19) active cases.<\/span><\/p>
