\nLocations to be affected: Antigua and Barbuda, especially coastal waters, elevated terrains,
\nexposed coastal areas and open terrains, on the windward side of the islands.<\/p>

Timing: Until late tomorrow, Friday.
\nSynopsis: Strong gusty winds, owing to expected significant steepening of the pressure gradient,
\nare expected. The direct wind threat level is minimal to life, livelihood, property and
\ninfrastructure. Notwithstanding, these winds could make some outdoor activities uncomfortable,
\nif not outright dangerous. High winds can create dangerous fallen or blowing objects. A high wind
\nadvisory means strong winds in the range of 40 to 48 km\/h (25 to 31 mph, 22 to 27 knots) with
\nhigher gusts are imminent or occurring.
\nWind: 27 to 44 km\/h (15 to 23 knots; 17 to 27 mph), with strong gusts to around 68 km\/h (36
\nknots; 42 mph).<\/p>\n

Potential impacts: Includes injuries; very hazardous seas; soil erosion; localized disruptions of
\nbusinesses; disruption to outdoor and sporting activities; disruption of transportation (air and
\nespecially sea); vehicular accidents and financial losses.<\/p>
