Dashboard Update for December 18, 2020<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/p>

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John\u2019s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed one new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 17<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0December 2020 at 6pm.<\/span><\/p>

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard on Thursday 17<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0December 2020 with the cut off time of 6pm, seventy-seven samples were processed at the Mount St. John\u2019s Medical Center which increased the pending results from thirty-five to one hundred and twelve.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

All seventy-seven samples processed by MSJMC yielded negative results and are reflected in the\u00a0<\/span>total persons tested<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>total samples taken<\/b><\/span>\u00a0columns of the dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Of the thirty-five samples processed by CARPHA, thirty-four were negative and one positive. The single case was imported.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and fifty-two (152); which is inclusive of six (6) active cases.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Meanwhile, one hundred and fourteen samples are pending at MSJMC.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.<\/span><\/p>\n
