The initiative,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>which was launched last Thursday invites visitors to Dominica with special packages,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>encouraging persons to encounter the rich, vibrant culture to help stimulate travel winto the island.<\/p>\n

Sa Ka F\u00eate<\/b>, which when translated from creole means \u201cWhat\u2019s Up?\u201d also sends a message to tourists that Dominica is opened for business, specifically targeting travellers from the CARICOM \u2018Travel Bubble\u2019 and destinations classified as low risk.<\/p>

\u201cWe are welcoming travellers who do not require a PCR test to enter Dominica, but for those coming from low-risk destinations, a negative PCR test result where samples were taken within 24-72 hours of arrival is required,\u201d said Colin Piper, CEO of Discover Dominica Authority.<\/p>

Airline partners, Caribbean Airlines and interCaribbean Airways, afford travellers direct flights from Barbados into Dominica with scheduled weekly flights, and with 12 properties that are COVID-19 certified offering packages, now is the ideal time to embark on a Dominican adventure.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of attractions in Dominica that remain active and lots to do, from exploring the longest hiking trail in the Eastern Caribbean, experiencing the thrill of seeing the second largest boiling Lake in the World and embracing the last Indigenous Peoples of the Caribbean.<\/p>
