The Caribbean Lottery has demonstrated its commitment to health care by its recent donation of 3,000 KN90 masks to the Ministry of Health to protect health-care workers in the fight against COVID-19. The handover recently took place at the Ministry of Health\u2019s office on High Street, St. John\u2019s.<\/p>

The masks were handed over to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Ena Dalso-Henry and was presented by the Caribbean Lottery\u2019s Accounting Coordinator, Rochelle Phillip and Accounts Development Representative, Mikhail Simmons.<\/p>\n

Phillip commented, \u201cIt was a delight to see the look on the faces of those who will benefit from this donation and I am happy that I was a part of it.\u201d<\/p>

Office Manager at the Caribbean Lottery Sabina Harrinarain said, \u201cWe at the Caribbean Lottery are committed to helping with the fight against COVID-19. We want to ensure that our health workers and all who are at the forefront are fully equipped and protected.\u201d She continued, \u201cThe donation is to show appreciation for the work that they do, and we know it will go a far way.\u201d<\/p>

Director of Pharmaceutical Services at the Ministry of Health, Alfred Athill said \u201cWe express appreciation to the Caribbean Lottery for the donation. We don\u2019t know when COVID-19 will end so any donation given is appreciated. We always look forward to partnering with corporate entities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Caribbean Lottery has been making PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) donations across the Eastern Antilles to protect frontline workers during this period of COVID-19.<\/p>
