Cabinet Notes:<\/strong>\u00a0Eight officials from the Antigua and Barbuda Hotel and Tourism Association (ABHTA) wished to learn about the treatment which the Cabinet will accord the use of beaches during the Christmas holidays, including V.C. Bird Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year\u2019s Day.<\/p>

The Cabinet informed that on V.C. Bird Day, December 9, 2020, a public holiday, the regulations will be altered to allow beaches to remain open from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm.<\/p>\n

However, continuing the restrictions, there shall be no music, no drinks, no picnicking on the public beaches on that day.<\/p>

Cabinet is guided by the need to remain vigilant in guarding against the spread of the Covid-19 disease by avoiding crowding on beaches at all times.<\/p>
