A Jamaican man was fined $1500 after he admitted to illegal possession of camouflage clothing and two government-issued ebooks.<\/p>

Thirty-seven-year-old Denval Mills pleaded guilty to the offences\u00a0on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Officers found the items at Mills\u2019 Gambles home when a search warrant was executed at the premises last Thursday.<\/p>

Through his attorney, Mills told Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh the camouflage vest and pants that were discovered were given to him as gifts.<\/p>

He said he knew it was an offence so he has never worn the clothing.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the convict says the tablets were found in a park.<\/p>

The convicted man was fined $500 or three months in prison for unlawfully obtaining the tablets and $1000 or six months for illegal possession of the camouflage clothing.<\/p>\n
