Employees of Flow Antigua & Barbuda observe Liberty Latin America\u2019s (LLA) Annual Mission Week by partnering with the Association Antigua and Barbuda Diabetes Association on several initiatives designed to raise funds and increase public awareness about Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.<\/p>

From November 16-20, employees from all across the LLA markets will celebrate the company\u2019s annual \u00a0Mission Week\u00a0 tradition of \u00a0giving back to \u00a0local communities through volunteering activities guided by the company\u2019s four pillars of corporate social responsibility: learning, environment, access, and disaster relief.<\/p>

This year employees at Flow Antigua chose to align with World Diabetes\u00a0Day (WDD) which is celebrated globally on November 14th. Their first initiative involves planting an organic fruit and vegetable garden at Flow\u2019s Clare Hall compound.\u00a0 Harvested produce will be distributed to local charities to promote a healthier lifestyle by encouraging the incorporation of more fruits and vegetables into person\u2019s diets.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a raffle will be drawn on November 30th<\/sup> and the proceeds raised will again go the ABDA to assist in their efforts for combating the disease.\u00a0 The prizes to be won include a Samsung 820 handset, dinner for two at the Hodges Bay Resort and Spa and a $200 shopping voucher at the Epicurean. The raffle will be promoted via a series of media events throughout the community.<\/p>
