The United Progressive Party (UPP) will convene the second National Vision Forum on Tuesday, January 30th at Freedom Hall at\u00a07 pm.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The forum will center on the youth and will set the stage for ongoing national dialogue. <\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

It will address the social, economic and technological advancements that the youth would like to see, as they begin to establish their place in society.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

“The youth in Antigua and Barbuda between the ages of 18-35 represent the majority of the population, and youth unemployment stands at more than 35%. Many of our youth believe that their needs are not being addressed. The UPP will not just talk about our youth, we will speak directly with our youth,” said Senator Harold Lovell, Political Leader of the UPP.<\/span><\/p>\n

A team of UPP candidates will outline a number of policy proposals and programs that center on youth empowerment and development. These topics include jobs, education, sports, technology, creative industries, and entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/p>
