An advisory issued yesterday to students of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona campus revealed that the graduands will have their ceremony online in January, 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>

According to the letter, the graduation will take a format that is blended but predominantly online. The graduands and their families will attend the ceremony virtually.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

The graduand\u2019s name will be called by the Dean of the faculty and the graduand\u2019s picture will be displayed.<\/p>

The advisory was also posted by the UWI Mona Guild on their twitter page and many students expressed their disappointment.<\/p>
