The Ministry of Education will present an overview of the country\u2019s performance in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations held this year.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Education Minister, Michael Browne, Director of Education, Clare Browne, and local CXC Registrar, Myrick Smith will address the nation in a press conference today.<\/p>\n

At the press conference, the education officials will provide statistical data on the performance of local students in the exams particularly as they compare with performances in previous years.<\/p>

<\/div>\n

Results from the exams are already available to students who can access them via the CXC website by using their registration ID number.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

The overall results are, however, sent to the ministry which will conduct a comparative analysis and present its findings to the public.<\/p>\n

This year has been a challenge as the coronavirus pandemic affected all aspects of education after the shutdown in March this year. It also caused the start of the regional examination to be postponed.<\/p>
