The 2020 Atlantic hurricane season used up its entire names list and has begun using the Greek alphabet for the rest of the season’s named storms for only the second time ever.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Friday morning,\u00a0Tropical Storm Wilfred\u00a0formed in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. Just a few hours later the National Hurricane Center initiated advisories on\u00a0Subtropical Storm Alpha, a compact low-pressure system that later\u00a0moved into Portugal.<\/p>\n
