A team of representatives from the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC), is currently on the sister island, Barbuda, as work begins to relocate the Barbuda Registration Unit.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Since the passage of Hurricane Irma in September 2017, which devastated the island, the Unit has been located at the Central Registration facility on Factory Road.<\/p>\n

Efforts have been ongoing to ensure that the facility is relocated and the Commission is pleased that these plans are finally coming to fruition.<\/p>

The Commission will subsequently keep the public informed on the completion of the work as well as the official operational date for Registration.<\/p>
