A number of Early Childhood Education facilities have been forced to close their doors permanently due to mounting expenses resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>

The revelation was made by Education Officer with responsibility for Early Childhood Education Embler Spencer.<\/p>\n

Speaking on ABS, Spencer says there are now less than 90 operating early childhood facilities in Antigua and Barbuda, 3 of which are government owned.<\/p>

Many of those centres she says have closed temporarily.<\/p>
