According to reports, no one was seriously injured but fishermen complained the pier had been in a dilapidated condition for years.<\/p>\n

Deputy Chief Fisheries Officer Tricia Lovell reportedly told state media there is no agency responsible for the upkeep of the pier, which was erected as a temporary facility years ago during work on the Market Wharf.<\/p>
